Kevin Jackson has more than 30 years experience associated with research & development, product design & testing, maintanence & operations, and forensic analysis of wind turbines.  He has worked successfully to support projects for wind turbine owners, operators, and other commercial clients.  Dr. Ja
ckson has been engaged with an extensive range of wind turbine technologies, providing engineering services for Micon 65 & 108 kW, Enertech 40 & 60 kW, Mitsubishi 250 & 600 kW, Wind Eagle 300, NedWind 500, Kenetech 56-100 & KVS-33, Zond 750 kW, NEG Micon 750, 900, & 1.5 MW, Bonus 1.3, GE Wind Energy 1.5 & 2.5 MW, Vestas 1.8 & 3 MW, Gamesa 2.0, RePower 2.0, Siemens 2.3 MW, & Clipper 2.5 MW turbines. 


Dr. Jackson attended the University of California at Davis, where he completed a course of study in mechanical engineering (B.S. 1982, M.S. 1984, Ph.D. 1989) focused on utility scale wind turbine technology.  He has served as Principal Investigator on a number of government funded research efforts, including the design of wind blades incorporating specialized airfoils (NREL), blade sweep twist coupling (Sandia), and aerodynamic flaps (DOE).
